Camel Tour Day 3

Show #2 - Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall - photo: Shane Carlson

Awaking in the rock'n'roll bus to a rainy morning in Manchester. Really enjoyed the show in

Wolverhampton last night. Was very nice to get a backstage visit from our old (although he used to be young) drumming colleague Dave Stewart.

And thanks to the patient and friendly folks outside. Was nice to meet'n'greet the intrepid travellers
from Israel - including Yonatan Doron from the Camel tribute band par excellence, The Humps. And all others who travelled from far-flung places such as Sweden, Edinburgh and South Wales.

Looking forward to tonight's show in Manchester in this very nice theatre at the Royal Northern College of Music. Photo from soundcheck:

  1. I hope we have a chance to meet'n'greet before the show in London. I had been waiting for a Camel concert for years and have been waiting for the day since the first announcement of the concert. We will be there as Camel Turkey Fan Club members. Cheers from Istanbul, Turkey! Looking forward to seeing you soon.

  2. Thanks for taking the time to meet the fans after the shows, Colin. It really means a lot! Right now it's the end of a wonderful Snow Goose performance here in Manchester.

Hi, just to let you know the 4 Swedes from Harragote are back in Sweden, wating for tour news including Sweden (Gothenburg - at least 4 tickets sold!) in 2014, but until then, we tresure the memories of The Harrogate gig. Amazing it was... For you information, I really do enjoy "an outcast.."
    Have a good touring

  6. Great show in Manchester, thought that "last ever" performance in Sheffield was amazing but this topped it. Lotsa love and continuing good health!
